Terms of Use
These terms apply to the BlockLift app and blocklift.app, provided by BlockLift Ltd. By joining the beta or using the app you agree to them.
Who can use BlockLift
You must be 18 or over, and able to train safely. If you have a medical condition, an injury, or any doubt about whether resistance training is right for you, talk to a doctor first.
Not medical advice
BlockLift builds and adapts training programmes. It is not a medical service and its coach is not a clinician. Nothing in the app is a diagnosis or a treatment. Stop training and seek medical advice if you feel unwell or in pain. You are responsible for training within your limits and for using equipment safely.
The beta
During the beta the service is provided free of charge and as-is. Features may change or be removed, data may be reset, and access may be limited or withdrawn while we work on the product. We will tell you before anything that would lose your training history. We will tell beta members about pricing before it applies to them.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under it.
Acceptable use
Don't attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, scrape it, or use it to build a competing product. Don't upload anything unlawful or that infringes someone else's rights.
Your content and our content
Your training data is yours. You give us the licence we need to store and process it to run the service. The app, its design, its programmes and its coaching output are ours; you may use them for your own training and not otherwise.
Health platforms
Reading from or writing to Apple Health or Health Connect happens only if you enable it and is governed by your device's permissions as well as these terms.
Ending things
You can delete your account in the app at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and we may end the beta with notice.
Liability
We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not let us exclude. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you in connection with the beta is limited to £100.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland, and the courts of Northern Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction.
